Announced on 22 May, customers can tweet or post funny responses to Facebook as to why the price should be lowered, along with using the #BigMacExcuse hashtag. McDonald’s South Africa has announced its McCafe brand will headline sponsorship of the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTA). The event is set to take place on 18 March at Sun City. Starbucks today announced the launch of their latest menu offering, the S’Mores Frappuccino, which will be available from 5 January across all branches for a limited time. The S’Mores Frappuccino consists of marshmallow-infused whipped cream, chocolate sauce, vanilla syrup, and biscuits in a milk, ice, and coffee frappuccino blend. It is based off the American dessert, which is traditionally made out of fire-roasted marshmallows and chocolate in between a layer of graham crackers.
